Make sure your voice is heard! Election Day is November 13, 2024. Learn what to expect at the polls, register to vote, and find your nearest polling station.

Ensuring a safe election is the top priority. To avoid congestion and long lines on Election Day, take advantage of advance polling opportunities.

Golden Nugget Centre – 250 Thatcher Drive East

  • Tuesday, October 29, 2024: Noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 30, 2024: Noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 2, 2024: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, November 4, 2024: Noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 5, 2024: Noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 7, 2024: Noon to 6:00 p.m.

On Election Day, the following polling stations will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

  • Poll #1: Moose Jaw Golden Nugget Centre, 250 Thatcher Drive East
  • Poll #2: Cosmo Senior Citizen Centre, 235 3 Avenue NE
  • Poll #3: Minto United Church, 1036 7th Avenue NW
  • Poll #4: Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan Street

Qualified voters who are unable to attend a polling station due to disability, limited mobility, or caregiving responsibilities may apply for homebound voting. Election officials will visit your home on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 29, 2024, by 4:00 p.m.

To make voting easier, mail-in ballot applications are available starting Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Voters will have the option to print off an online Voter Registration Form and bring the completed Form with them to their polling station to reduce wait times.

The Voter Registration form will be available Monday, October 21, 2024 on the City of Moose Jaw website.

(Please wait to sign the Voter Registration Form until a Poll Clerk has received your form.)

To vote in the municipal election, you must:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen on the day of the election
  • Be at least 18 years of age on the day of the election
  • Have lived in Saskatchewan for at least 6 consecutive months before Election Day
  • Have resided in the City of Moose Jaw or owned assessable land in Moose Jaw for at least 3 consecutive months prior to Election Day

The City of Moose Jaw will provide free Transit on Municipal Election Day, Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

City Transit regular routes provide service to the four(4) polling locations:

  • Para Transit service will be available for all polling hours. Bookings are required for this service and reservations must be made by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 6 at (306) 694-4488.
